of energy, traction, trasformation and distribution. It always kept
abreast with rail and industrial production and installation systems.
Its readiness to accept innovations and its sensibility to changes
and to market requirements have stimulated the creation of a flexible
and professionally qualified structure wiyh innovative tecnical media
that enable to design and produce several types of customised and
"turnkey" systems with the use of:
- CAD engineering systems
- A structure to manage projects and implement all phases,
even the more complex ones
- A structure to research and apply the most advanced technologies.
The engineering strenght of IRMIE impianti srl is confirmed
by the large number of projects implemented on behalf of F.S. spa:
electric conversion sub-stations, lightning
systems for rail yards, MV/LV transformer rooms, REC
cabines, 3 kV power supplies for train wagons, centralised
REC systems operating at 3 kV DC in train stations, brake
testing systems for trains, auxiliary motor test bench,
train wagon test bench with different voltages. The experience
acquired in this field has enabled IRMIE Impianti srl to develop
a special kind of fully automated test bench
for direct current and asyncronous traction motors. The company has
the necessary equipment to circulate on rail roads with homologated
train wagons. IRMIE Impianti srl also designs and produces
lightning systems for tunnels and A.N.A.S. managed public roads
and fully equipped cogeneration systems
for the purification of exhaust gases. To improve its qualifications
and be able to offer its clients enhanced guarantees, IRMIE Impianti
srl has acquired the ISO 9001 quality certification.
